  7. When starting MoCo, I encounter the error message "No modem detected. Please check GSM terminals connection and restart the application after 1 minute." What could be the problem ?

  8. MoCo is unable to detect the gsm modem. Please check the following items:
    • The gsm modem driver is successfully installed. See section 1.1 of the MoCo User Manual for steps to install the gsm modem driver.
    • The gsm modem is plugged into a usb port of your computer.
    • You have inserted a SIM card into the gsm modem and close the slot cover.
    • The LED light of the gsm modem should be blinking. If the LED light of the gsm modem is not blinking, it means it has not established connection with the telecom base station. Wait a while for it to blink.
    • If the LED light of the modem still does not blink after 1 minute, do the following:
      1. Plug out the gsm modem. Take out the SIM card.
      2. Use a dry cloth to wipe the chip surface (the golden/yellow area) of the SIM card.
      3. Insert the SIM card back into the modem. Close the cover and plug the modem back in to the computer.
      4. Wait a few seconds for the LED light to blink. Then run MoCo.
